Work began on issue one of A-Mag at the end of August 2018, when South West Amiga Group members Matt Armstrong and Rob Hazelby decided to compile a new Amiga disk magazine in their spare time for a bit of fun.
Over the following three months, requests went out to various members of the Amiga community asking for submissions or willingness to be interviewed for the first issue. The response was overwhelming, and by the end of November 2018 not only was there enough content for the first issue to be released several articles or interviews were already lined-up for issue two!
The idea behind A-Mag is to try and recreate the feel of the classic Amiga disk magazines from the late eighties through to the mid nineties, but ensuring that the content is all current. The zine is put together during our spare time, so releases won't be on a regular basis but instead when we have enough material and enough free time to be able to complete each disk.
If you'd like to contribute to a future issue then please contact us at psiq.tfia@gmail.com
Many thanks for your interest. We hope you enjoy the mag.
